    LENA SLAUENWHITE
    1941-2016
    Lena Slauenwhite, 75, of Peoples Park Tower, Moncton and formerly of Shediac passed away on Sunday, December 4th, 2016 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center, Moncton.
    Born in Shediac, NB, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and the late Leonie (née: LeBlanc) Landry.
    Lena was a lady of great faith and gentle personality. She had a great love for her family, all children and seniors, music, gardening,nature especially "birds" and travel. Her warm smile and positive presence will be remembered at l’Institut Feminin, la Légion de Marie, Friendly Faces Welcoming Committee at Peoples Park Tower and T.O.P.S.
    She is survived by one daughter, Karen (Dan) Burke of Moncton; two sisters: Dina (Lionel) Vautour and Catherine Reeder (Normand LeBlanc), both of Moncton; as well as several nieces and nephews.
    She was predeceased by her 1st husband, Lee Slauenwhite in 1983; 2nd husband, Emmanuel LeBlanc in 2008 and also by three brothers: Leon, Gerard and Jean-Bernard.
    Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe (857-1901), on Wednesday from 7 to 9 pm and also on Thursday from 1 pm until time of service.
    Funeral service will be celebrated from Chartersville Funeral Home Chapel, on Thursday, December 8th, 2016 at 2 pm.
    Interment in Saint-Joseph Parish Cemetery, Shediac.
    Donations to a memorial of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
