Jean M Methot
1931– 2022
It is with profound sadness that we announce that our mom has gone to bewith her beloved husband.  Jean Mary Methot, 91, of Sackville, passed away at the Drew Nursing Home on Monday, December 26, 2022. Jean was born in Sackville, a daughter of the late Marven and Della (LeBlanc) Brownell and the widow of the late Roger Methot.
The oldest of her family, she moved to Moncton at 16 and met Roger who would soon become her husband for over 70 years. She loved making crafts and cooking and square dancing with her husband. They loved to travel, and wintered in Florida for many years. Jean also loved her dogs, and in particular poodles.
She is survived by her children, Linda (Victor) Tower, Westcock, Robert (Cathy), Moncton, Debbie Breau, Riverview, David (Charlene Bulmer), Dorchester; 9 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 5 great greatgrandchildren; sisters Sadie (Kenny) Steeves, Sackville, Betty (Doug) Graydon, Thunder Bay, ON; brother Gerry, Moncton, Sydney, Sackville, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her son James; two grandchildren, Amy and Robert Paul Jr., as well as her brother, Alton.
Arrangements have been entrusted into the care and guidance of the Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge St, Sackville (506-364-1300). Following cremation, a funeral service for the family will take place at the funeral home on Monday, January 2, 2023 at 11 am. Interment will take place at the Chertersville (sic) Lady of Calvary Catholic Cemetery in the spring.

DellaMary Brownell
1910-2009
Della Mary Brownell, age 99, of Sackville, passed away peacefully at the Sackville Memorial Hospital on Saturday, May 2, 2009. Born in Upper Sackville, she was a daughter of the late Sam and Natalie (Richard) LeBlanc.
Della was a devoted wife and mother, and a dedicated member of the Sackville Parish.
She will be sadly missed by daughters, Jean (Roger)Methot, Memramcook, Sadie (Kenneth) Steeves, Sackville, Bettty Ann (Herman) Cummings, Thunder Bay, ON; sons, Jerry (Mary Lou) Brownell, Sackville, and Sidney Brownell (special friend Muriel), Sackville; as well as several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
The last surviving member of her immediate family, Della was also predeceased by her husband Marven, son Alton, grandchildren, Jimmy, Leslie and Gordon.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge Street, Sackville, (364-1300), from where visitation will be held on Monday, May 4, from 7-9 pm. A funeral service will take place on Tuesday, at 11 am from St. Vincent's Roman Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the Holy Rosary Cemetery.
Donations in memory of Della may be made to the Holy Rosary Cemetery, the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.
