    Obituary

    David MacKinnon
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved father, husband, granddad ‘Pops’ and friend, David MacKinnon, on Wednesday, June 27, 2012.
David was born in Sydney, the son of the late Bernard and Phyllis (White) MacKinnon.
David was employed at Hashems Scrap Iron & Metal for many years. To us we knew him by his gentle disposition, his silly humour and always tinkering with something around the house.
David is survived by his loving wife, his soul mate and best friend of 47 years, Helen (Hill); a daughter, Phyllis (Raymond) Snow; sons, David C. (Linda), Donald, James, Patrick (Jen), David Jr. (Rachael); 11 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and also by a very good friend of our dad, Thomas MacEachern. David is also survived by his brother, James (Rose); sister, Mary Jane (Donnie) Landry and by several nieces and nephews and many friends.
David was predeceased by his brother, Bernard.
In honouring David’s wishes, there will be no visitation.
Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society and the C.B. Palliative Care Society.
    Online condolences to www.twcurry.com.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to T.W.Curry Parkview Chapel.
