    Genevieve Currie
    January 15, 1936 –March 13, 2016

    Currie, Genevieve Faye, 80 of Amherst passed away on Sunday, March 13, 2016 at Cumberland Regional Healthcare Centre.

    She was the daughter of the late Peter and Alvena (LeBlanc) Downey.

    She is survived by her husband Douglas, son Peter (Donna Lynn), grandsons Cody, Luke and Shane, greatgranddaughter Marie, Edmonton, Alberta, sisters Carolyn (Wayne) and Anne of Halifax; brothers Victor (Nora), River Hebert, Walter (Elle), London, Ont. and several nephews.

    No services as per Genevieve’s wishes, with interment at a later date in the Ragged Reef Cemetery.

    Arrangements have been entrusted to Campbell’s Funeral Home, 98 Church St. Amherst, 902-667-9906.

    As an expression of sympathy donations may be made to Cumberland Regional Health Foundation.
