    PARKIN, Gertrude - Passed away unexpectedly at her residence on Sunday, September 28th, 2014 at the age of 81. Beloved mother of David (Zita) Parkin. Cherished grandma of Michael (Jenn) and Sandra. Loving great grandmother of Joseph and Brooke. Gertrude will be sadly missed by her brothers, her sister and many friends. The family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL , 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Thursday, October 2nd from 10a.m.-12p.m. A Celebration of Gertrude's Life will follow on Thursday at 12p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
