    Frank Catalli believes that Frederic Comeau and his brother, Gregoire, settled in Scoudouc or Painsec area between 1868 and 1871. Genevieve, wife of Frederick, died in Lower Cove in April 1868 and their last child was born in Lower Cove in September 1867. In the Nova Scotia Vital Statistics for the birth of Lablanche Como, her father, Frederick R Como, is shown to be a resident of Lower Cove, Nova Scotia. Frederick appears in the New Brunswick 1871 census in Shediac Parish of which Scoudouc and Painsec were a part of at that time.
