NOTE Discrepency with marriage date and bride's parent's names given by Stephen White in les cahiers, vol.25, Apr-Sep 1994. That publication gives a marriage date of 21 Feb 1832 in Barachois parish. However on microfilm C-3016, Barachois parish, the only marriage entry with the date 21 Feb 1832 is one for Francois Bonis and Marie Nocoute. However there is a marriage entry dated 21 Jan 1832 for Francois Leblanc son of Maximin Leblanc & Scholastique Leger, and Susanne Leblanc daughter of Augustin Leblanc and Theotiste Ouellet. It also gives information such as Augustin being a farmer and is a resident of the parish of St Anselme de Dorchester.
There is another mention of Augustin Leblanc in a marriage entry in microfilm reel C-3019 for St Anselme. In that marriage entry (6 Feb 1849) which is for Andre Leblanc and Rosalie Leblanc, Andre's parents are given as Augustin Leblanc and Gertrude Bourc and Gertrude is deceased.
Is Augustin have two marriages? One to Gertrude Bourc and one to Theotiste Ouellet?
