    ACTON- Mary Louise Shaughnessey, 75, formerly of Bedford, died March 16 at her home in Acton following a lengthy illness.
    She was the wife of the late James C. Shaughnessey Jr.
    She was born in Waltham on June 16, 1930, the daughter of the late Didace and Minnie (Leger) Vienneau. Mrs. Shaughnessey was a graduate of St. Charles High School in Waltham. She lived in Bedford from 1966 until 2005.
    Mrs. Shaughnessey was a member of St. Michael's Church in Bedford.
    She is survived by four sons, James C. Shaughnessey of Stow, David G. Shaughnessey of Westford, Paul E. Shaughnessey of Tyngsboro, and Michael A. Shaughnessey of Acton; a daughter, Ann M. Hurley of Norfolk; nine grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Catherine Vienneau of Boynton Beach, Fla.; a niece, Patricia Scafidi; and several other nieces and nephews.
    A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated March 20,at the Church of St. Michael in Bedford.
