    IreneMary Estabrooks
    1922-2014

    The death of Irene MaryEstabrooks, 91, occurred peacefully in Sackville on Monday,March 17, 2014. Born in Sackville, Irene was a daughter of the late Timothy and Alvina (Melanson) LeBlanc.

    Irene was a member of St. Vincent's Roman Catholic Church in Sackville.

    She had worked at Mount Allison University for a number of years. When she lived on Richardson Street, she enjoyed and participated in many tea and birthday parties with her friends and neighbours.  She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
     
    She is survived by a daughter, Julie (Ken Nantais) Lines, Amherst, two grandchildren, Tania (Patrick) Lines, Sackville and Lisa (David) Estabrooks; five great grandchildren, Timothy, Amber, Alyshea, Brianne, and Riley; 3 brothers, Leonard (Bea), Edgar (Gloria), and Levi (Evangeline), all of Sackville.  

    Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Russell; a daughter in infancy; and her brothers, Charles, Henry, Emile, Ronald and Rene.

    Arrangements are under the care and supervision of the Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge Street, Sackville (364-1300) from where visitation will take place from 7-9 pm on Wednesday, March 19, 2014.  A funeral service will be held from St. Vincent Roman Catholic Church, Sackville on Thursday at 11 am.  Father Allison Carroll officiating.  Interment will be in the Sackville Cemetery in the spring.

    Donations in memory of Irene may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
