    John (aka Jack) Ingram played hockey for a number of Moncton teams over the years. He played the center position and was a leading scorer. When the National Hockey League expanded in the 1920's to create the Boston Bruins, John/Jack Ingram, a leading goal scorer in Moncton, New Brunswick, was invited to play professionally. He played with the Boston Bruins in 1924-25 season but with an unsuccessful scoring season, he returned to Moncton. In Moncton he continued to play hockey and score goals again. Eventually he became a referee and after 1931 took up coaching and became a well known coach of Junior and Senior hockey teams in New Brunswick.

    John married Mabel White 17 Nov 1914, Westmorland County, New Brunswick, Canada. Mabel (daughter of James Albert White\LeBlanc and Martha Carter) was born 17 Dec 1896, Moncton, Westmorland County, New Brunswick, Canada; died 1948, Moncton, Westmorland County, New Brunswick, Canada; was buried , Elmwood Cemetery, Moncton, Westmorland County, New Brunswick, Canada.
